The Repentant Heart
Fuḍayl b. ‘Iyāḍ رحمه الله was asked about this Āyah:
“Who feared the Most Beneficent (Allāh) in the Ghayb (unseen) and brought a heart turned in repentance (to Him).” • [al-Qur’ān 50:33]
He Raḥimahullāh said: “The heart which remembers its sin (committed) in private then seeks (Allāh’s) Forgiveness from it.”
