Shia Zulfiqar – A two-edged Persian Majoosi dagger

It is correct that the famous Shia version of ‘Ali’s (ra) sword, the so called Zulfiqar can be found in many Sunni circles (inlcuding in Ottoman times), however, none of that serves as evidence (also not movies), especially since according to the language of the Arabs no two-edged sword is called Zulfiqar.

We have to purify our heritage from Rafidi myths, we own that to the Ahl Al Bayt رضوان الله عليهم.

=============================

WEAK HADITH»Nobody better than`Ali & no sword better than dhul faqar (#Zulfiqar)?

Status : #FABRICATED hadith!

In some circles the following ‘hadith’ is often quoted to prove some corrupt agendas (2 narrations) :

1) There is no better man than `Ali, and no sword better than Dhul-Faqar

2) From Al-Hasan ibn `Arafah Al-`Abdi on the authority of Abu Gha`far Muhamad ibn `Ali Al-Baqir who said: “An angel called Radwan announced from the Heavens in (the Battle of) Badr ‘No sword other than Dhu Al-Faqar and no man better than `Ali.’”

1) The first narration is reported by ‘Isa ibn Mihran on whom the following muhaddithun have said :

Ibn Adiy said: “He narrated fabricated Hadith.”

Hâfiz al-#Dhahabî said about him: “Liar” (Mizan, #6613)

Ibn Ubaydullah ibn Abu Rafi is weak as well.

Allâmah Sakhâwiy said this narration is “very weak” (Al-Maqaasidul Hasana, 1307)

Imâm al-#Bukhâri said: “Munkar al-Hadith.”

Ibn Ma’een said his narrations are nothing.

Abû Hâtim said: “Extremely rejected.” (Mizan, #7904)

Imam al-Suyûtî rejected this narration in “La’ali al-masnu’a” (1/333)

Al-Dhahabî rejected it in “Talkhees Kitab al-Maudua” (1/126/#274).

Hâfiz Ibn Taymiyyah said:

“This narration is from false, #fabricated stories–in accordance to the ijma (#consensus) of people who know the science of Hadith.” (Mukhtasar Minhaj as-Sunnah)

Al-Shawkânî said in “Fawaid al-Majmua” (372/#68):

“And in the chain is Eesa ibn Mihran, and he is Rafidhi (Shia extremist), who narrated false stories. Ibn al-Jawzi included this narration in his book on fabricated Hadith.”

Ibn Katheer said : “hadith #munkar” (al bidayah, 7/293)

Additionally, Mulla ‘Ali Al Qâri also mentions that this hadith has “no basis” and portrays it as this is an innovation of the Shi’a. (Al-Asraarul marfoo’a, 595)

Sa’d bin Tareef is a raawi of this narration and Ibn hajar says he is matrook (rejected) and that he was a raafidi, This hadith is supporting his tashayyu’ thus rendering his narration as unacceptable (Taqreebut Tahzeeb)

On the second hadith :

Mullâ ‘Ali Qari al-hanafi added, “It is proved to be invalid for if something like this had been announced from the Heavens in the Battle of Badr all the honorable Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) would have heard it and thus it would have been reported by the great Imams.

Imam Al-Shafi3i – may Allah have mercy upon him – said: “I have not seen among the heretics a people more famous for falsehood than the Rafidah.” [narrated by Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi/Al-Kifayah]
