Imam Al-Bayhaqi reported: Hatim Al-Asam
(rahimahumullaah) said:
“Lusts are three types:
lust in eating,
lust in speaking,
and lust in gazing.
Guard your eating with confidence, your tongue with truthfulness, and
your gaze with tears.”
