Do Not Make Yourself Incapable
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymīn [رحمه الله] said:
❝The Messenger’s [ﷺ] saying, ‘Do not make yourself incapable’ means: Do not become lazy and go back on an action once you have started it; rather, persist.
This is because if you left it and then afterwards started another action, and then afterwards you left [that] and then started, and then left, none of your actions would [ever] get completed.❞
