Al-Hasan al-Basri [may Allāh have mercy on him] said:
“O’ assembly of youth! Seek the Afterlife, as we often see people pursuing the Afterlife and finding it as well as the worldly-life, but we have never seen anyone pursue the worldly-life and gain the Afterlife as well as the worldly-life.”
