BENEFIT 5: Our brothers from the Jinn-kind may Allāh reward them with good

Salamah ibn Shabīb An-Naysābūri raḥimahullāh (D. 247 AH) said:

”ﻋﺰﻣﺖ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻨﻘﻠﺔ ﺇﻟﻰ ﻣﻜﺔ ﻓﺒﻌﺖ ﺩاﺭﻱ، ﻓﻠﻤﺎ ﻓﺮﻏﺘﻬﺎ ﻭﺳﻠﻤﺘﻬﺎ ﻭﻗﻔﺖ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺑﺎﺑﻬﺎ ﻓﻘﻠﺖ: ﻳﺎ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺪاﺭ ﺟﺎﻭﺭﻧﺎﻛﻢ ﻓﺄﺣﺴﻨﺘﻢ ﺟﻮاﺭﻧﺎ ﺟﺰاﻛﻢ اﻟﻠﻪ ﺧﻴﺮا، ﻭﻗﺪ ﺑﻌﻨﺎ اﻟﺪاﺭ ﻭﻧﺤﻦ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻨﻘﻠﺔ ﺇﻟﻰ ﻣﻜﺔ ﻓﻌﻠﻴﻜﻢ اﻟﺴﻼﻡ ﻭﺭﺣﻤﺔ اﻟﻠﻪ. ﻗﺎﻝ: ﻓﺄﺟﺎﺑﻨﻲ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺪاﺭ ﻣﺠﻴﺐ ﻓﻘﺎﻝ: ﻭﺃﻧﺘﻢ ﺟﺰاﻛﻢ اﻟﻠﻪ ﺧﻴﺮا ﻣﺎ ﺭﺃﻳﻨﺎ ﻣﻨﻜﻢ ﺇﻻ ﺧﻴﺮا ﻭﻧﺤﻦ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻨﻘﻠﺔ ﺃﻳﻀﺎ، ﻓﺈﻥ اﻟﺬﻱ اﺷﺘﺮﻯ اﻟﺪاﺭ ﺭاﻓﻀﻲ ﻳﺸﺘﻢ ﺃﺑﺎ ﺑﻜﺮ ﻭﻋﻤﺮ ﺭﺿﻲ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻬﻤﺎ“.

“I decided to move to Makkah, so I sold my house. When I had moved everything out and handed it over, I stood at its door and said: O people of the house, we lived with you as neighbours and you treated us well, may Allāh reward you with good. He said: Someone responded to me from the house, and said: And you likewise, may Allāh reward you with good, we only saw good from you. We are also on the move, because the one who bought the house is a Rāfiḍhi who insults Abū Bakr and ‘Umar, may Allāh be pleased with them.”
