The Blessings Of Adhering To The Senior Scholars

From Ibn Abbas from the Messenger of Allaah [ﷺ] who said:

«البركة مع أكابركم.»

❝Blessings are with your senior elders.❞

Abdullaah Bin Ma’sood [رضي الله عنه] said:

«لَا يَزَالُ النَّاسُ صَالِحِينَ مُتَمَاسِكِينَ مَا أَتَاهُمُ الْعِلْمُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمِنْ أَكَابِرِهِمْ ، فَإِذَا أَتَاهُمْ مِنْ أَصَاغِرِهِمْ هَلَكُوا.»

❝The righteous people will remain, those who adhere to knowledge which comes to them from the Companions of Muhammad [ﷺ] and from their senior elders. If knowledge comes from their youth then they will be destroyed.❞
