🪙 Abu Mutarrif رضي الله عنه reported:

I came to the Prophet, صلى الله عليه وسلم while he was reciting the verse, _“Competition for wealth diverts you,” (102:1)._

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “The son of Adam boasts: My wealth! My wealth! O son of Adam, have you truly earned any wealth but

📌 or put on and wore out,

📌 or spent in charity so it remained?”
