???? Mistakes Before the Entering of the “New” Moon of Ramadan????
✳️تقدم رمضان بصوم يوم أو يومين إلا لمن وافق صيامه
دليل حديث أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم “لا تقدموا رمضان بصوم يوم ولا يومين، إلا رجل كان يصوم صوماً فليصومه.” أخرجه البخاري (١٩١٤), ومسلم (١٠٨٢)
❇️Proceeding Ramadan by fasting a day or two except for the one that this fast coincides with his normal fast.
The evidence is the hadith of Abu Hurayrah -may Allah be pleased with him- who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: *“Do not proceed the fasting of Ramadan with the fasting of a day or two before it. Except a man that was already in the habit of fasting, so he may fast.”* Collected by Bukhari (1914) and Muslim (1082).
✳️قال العلامة النووي في”شرح مسلم” (١٠٨٢): فيه الصريح بالنهي عن استقبال رمضان بصوم يوم ويومين لمن لم يصادف عادة له، أو يصله بما قبله، فإن لم يصله و لا صادف عادة فهو حرام، هذا هو الصحيح في مذهبنا لهذا الحدث.اه
❇️Al-Alaamah An-Nawawi said in his Explanation of Muslim hadith no. 1082: *“In it is a clear prohibition on proceeding Ramadan with the fasting of a day or two for he that it doesn’t coincide with his normal routine of fasting or joining it to what he fasted before (of the month of Sha’ban). So if he is not joining them nor is it apart of his normal routine, it is impermissible. This is what is correct from our methaab (the methaab of ash-Shaafi’ee) regarding this hadith.”*
✳️وقال ابن دقيق العيد في “ أحكام الأحكام” (ص٢٦٧): فيه صريح الرد على الروافض الذين يريدون تقديم الصوم على الرؤية لأن رمضان اسم لما بين الهلالين، فإذا صام قبله بيوم فقد تقدم عليه. اه
❇️And Ibn Daqeeq Al-Eid said in “Rules of the Rulings” (p. 267): *“In it is a clear refutation upon the Rawaafidh, those that want to proceed the moon siting, because Ramadan is a name for that which is in-between the two moons, so if one fasts before it by a day, then verily he has proceeded it.”*
