“كان بشر يصلي فيطول، ورجل وراءه ينظر ففطن له، فلما انصرف قال: لا يعجبك ما رأيت مني، فإن إبليس قد عبد الله دهرا مع الملائكة”

💡Sahl bin Mansūr [may Allāh have mercy on him] narrated:

“Bishr [may Allāh have mercy on him] used to pray and would lengthen his prayer. A man behind him was watching and he [Bishr] noticed him watching. When he [Bishr] finished [his prayer] he said: ‘Let not what you have seen from me amaze you, for Iblees [Satan] worshipped Allāh for a lengthy period of time alongside the Angels”.
