*قراءة سورة يس عند قبر الميت هل هي واردة؟*
السؤال: هذا السائل علي السلفي من اليمن تعز يقول: اسأل عن قراءة يس عند قبر الميت هل هي واردة؟
الجواب: الشيخ: لا. لم يرد قراءة شىء من القرآن عند قبر الميت، وإنما الذي ورد أن النبي صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم كان إذا فرغ من دفن الميت وقف عليه وقال: «استغفروا لأخيكم واسألوا له التثبيت فإنه الآن يسأل»، وأما قراءة الفاتحة أو قراءة يس أو غيرهما من القرآن فهذا ليس بسنة إذا لم يرد عن النبي صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم. نعم.

*Reciting Surah Yāseen at the grave of the deceased, is it reported [in any text]?*
Question: “The questioner Alee as-Salafi, from Taiz, Yemen said: ‘I am asking regarding the recitation of [Surah] Yāseen at the grave of the deceased, is it reported [in any text]?’”
Answer: Shaykh ibn ‘Uthaymeen [may Allāh have mercy on him] said: “There is no [text] reported with regards to reciting anything from the Qur’ān at the grave of the deceased rather that which is reported when the Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ finished burying someone who had died, he would stand over him and say, ‘Seek forgiveness for your brother, and ask that he may be made steadfast, for now he is being questioned.’”
With regards to reciting [Surah] al-Fātiha or reciting [Surah] Yāseen or other than these two [Surahs] from the Qur’ān then this is not from the Sunnah nor is it reported from the Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. Yes.
