أتي الله عزّ وجلَّ بِعَبْدٍ مِنْ عبادِهِ آتاهُ الله مالاً فقال لهُ ماذا عَملْتَ في الدُّنْيا؟ فقال: ما عملت من شيء يا رب إلا أنك آتيتني مالا فكنت أبايع الناس وكان من خلقي أن أيسر على الموسر وأنظر المعسر قال الله تعالى: أنا أحق بذلك منك تجاوزوا عن عبدي

It is reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
“They brought to Allah the Exalted, the Majestic, one of His servants, to whom Allah had granted wealth, and He asked him: “What did you do in earthly life? ” (In reply) he said: “O my Lord, I did nothing except that You gave me wealth, and I did business with people. I was inherent to make concessions to the wealthy and to give respite to those in straitened circumstances [from repaying his debt].” And then Allah Almighty said: “I have a greater right to do this than you, leave My servant!”
This hadith was transmitted by al-Hakim (2/306) from the words of Khuzayfa, ‘Uqba ibn’ Amir and Abu Mas’ud al -Ansari, may Allah be pleased with them.
Al-Hakim said: “A reliable hadith corresponding to the conditions of Muslim,” and al-Zahabi agreed with him.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See “Sahih al-Jami ‘al-sagir” (125), “Ahadis al-Buyu”.
