Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Azīz ibn Bāz – may Allāh have mercy on him – said: “When I lost my eyesight I heard my aunt say to my mother, and she thought I was sleeping, “Poor ‘Abdul-‘Azīz. How is he going to get work that he can live off of?”
