Shaykh ‘Umar al-‘Umar wrote:
“If a man sat on the road and he had a piece of cloth that contained danānīr (gold coins), and no one passed by except he gave him a coin..and another was beside him glorifying Allāh the Most High (saying: Allahu Akbar)..the one saying the takbīr has the greater reward.”
