Abu Hurayrah is reported to have said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
‘When anyone of you cleans himself, he should not clean himself with his right hand. Let him clean himself with his left hand.’
This hadith was narrated by Ibn Majah 312.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Saheeh al-jami ‘as-sagyir 322.
