Jabir ibn Abdullah رضي الله عنه said, “We were in a war or a trip with the Messenger of Allah “.  On that day we were a little more than two hundred ten. On the way, the time for prayer came. Then the Messenger of Allah said: “Do people have the means of purification (ie water)? (On hearing this) a man came running with a pot, and there was some water in the container and no one else had any water except this. Then the Prophet poured it into another vessel (bigger one). Then he performed a perfect wudu’ , when he finished with wudu’ he left the vessel.  Immediately the people scrambled to approach the vessel, as they said; “rub this on yourselves”,”rub this over yourself.”  When the Messenger of Allah heard them saying this, he said: “Slow down.” The Messenger of Allah then placed the palm of his hand between the water and the vessel and said “Bismillah ( In the name of Allah )” then he said:” Perfect your wudu'”. Jabir رضي الله عنه said; By His Essence who gave me vision and tested me with my eyes, I really saw a stream of water flowing through his fingers. And he did not raise his hand until all of them were finished making wudu’.
