حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: إِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُ حَجَرًا بِمَكَّةَ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ أُبْعَثَ إِنِّي لَأَعْرِفُهُ الْآنَ.
Jabir bin Samura reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: I recognise the stone in Mecca which used to pay me salutations before my advent as a Prophet and I recognise that even now.
