Narrated by Ibn ‘Abbas:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whomever you find doing the actions of the people of Lut then kill the one doing it, and the one it is done to.”
[Graded hasan (good) in Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1456]
Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated from his shaykh,
“Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him), that the Sahaabah (companions of the Prophet ﷺ) were unanimously agreed that the one who does the action of the people of Loot is to be executed; they only differed as to the manner of execution.”
