Ibn Aqeel said: “When the wise man is alone with his wife, he should then leave his intellect in a corner as a respected shaykh and (start) joking and fooling around with her to give her and her soul it’s rights. And when he is alone with his children, then he should come to them in their shape (I.e. act like them, be like them etc).”
