When Was al-Isrā’ and al-Mi’rāj & What is The Ruling On Celebrating It On The 27th Night Of Rajab?
Shaykh Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ al-‘Uthaymīn رحمه الله said: “…As for al-Isrā’ and al-Mi’rāj, which has become popular amongst a lot of the people or most of them, that it is in Rajab and more so on the 27th nigh of Rajab, then this not correct at all. The most apparent opinion is that al-Isrā’ and al-Mi’rāj was in Rabī’ al-Awwal. Moreover, having celebrations on the 27th night of Rajab is an innovation which has no basis.”
