_The 9th Day_
Imam An-Nawawi [رحمه اللّٰه] said
“This day is the best day of the year for supplication. So it is upon man to make time for Dhikr (remembrance), supplication and recitation of Qur’an and to supplicate with different forms of supplication and to make different forms of Dhikr.
And to supplicate for himself, his parents, his relatives, his elders, his companions, his friends, his loved ones, everyone who is good to him and all Muslims and to be aware with full awareness of falling short in all of that for indeed you can not make up for this day.”

Scholar of the Sunnah, Sh. Suleyman Ar-Ruheyli [حفظه اللّٰه] said
“Oh my brother tomorrow is the day of ‘Arafah. Indeed this witnessed day is from the sacred months and from the months of pilgrimage and from the 10 known days and there is no day where Allah frees a slave from the fire more than the day of ‘Arafah and supplication in it is the best of supplication so make monotheism apparent in this day. Break down for the Lord of the worlds. Preserve your limbs, soften your tongue and (shed) your tears.”
