A Series of Reminders About The Month of Muḥarram – No.11

All Of The Aḥadīth Reported About Showering, Applying Kajal/Kohl On The Eyes And Colouring Upon [One’s Self] On The Day Of ‘Āshūrā Are Fabricated

Sh. Ibn Bāz رحمه الله said: “All of the aḥadīth reported about showering, applying Kajal/Kohl [on the eyes] and colouring [upon ones self, such as applying ḥenna’ on the hands] on the day of ‘Āshūrā and other than that which the people of the Sunnah do on that day of ‘Āshūrā in opposition to the Shī’ah are fabricated, except fasting.”
