✒ Safeguard Your Tongue
Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:
إذا أصبح ابن آدم فإن الأعضاء كلها تكفر اللسان فتقول : اتق الله فينا فإنما نحن بك : فإن استقمت استقمنا وإن اعوججت اعوججنا
“When son of Ādam wakes up in the morning, all of his limbs humble themselves to the tongue and say:
‘Fear Allāh regarding us for we are only as you are; so if you are upright; we will be upright, and if you are crooked; we will be crooked’.”

💎 Additional Benefit 💎
Sh. Muḥammad b. ʿAbdur-Raḥmān al-Mubārakfūree Raḥimahullāh (teacher of Sh. Taqi-ud-Dīn al-Hilālee) mentioned that if it is asked how can we reconcile between this Ḥadeeth and the narration: ‘There lies within the body a piece of flesh, if it is sound, the whole body is sound; and if it is corrupted, the whole body is corrupted, verily this piece is the *HEART*.’ then say:
It is the tongue which is the deputy and representative of the heart (i.e if tongue is corrupt then so will be the heart hence no contradiction between these two narrations).
