قـال الـحافظ ابن حجر العسقلاني رحمه الله تعالى:
المرء إذا رأى صاحبه مهموماً، استحب له أن يحدثه بما يزيل همه ويطيب نفسه

Al-Hāfidh ibn Hajr al-Asqalāni [may Allāh have mercy on him] said:
“When a person sees that his companion is in a state of distress, it is deemed desirable for him to speak to him [the one who is in a state of grief] with [comforting] words which will [help] remove his grief and make him feel better.”
