قال الإمام مالك رحمه الله: لا يصلح آخر هذه الأمة إلا ما اصلح أولها
قال الشيخ صالح الفوزان حفظه الله وبارك الله في عمره وعمله:
الذي أصلح أولها الكتاب والسنة ، فلا يصلح آخر هذه الأمة إلا الكتاب والسنة، واتباع هدي منهج السلف.

Al-Imām Mālik [may Allāh have mercy upon him] said:
“The latter part of this Nation will not be rectified except by that which rectified its first part.”
Shaykh Sālih al-Fawzān [may Allāh preserve him, bless him in his age [i.e. extend his life] and [bless his] actions] said:
“That which rectified the earliest part [of this Nation] is the Book [of Allāh] and the example and guidance [of the Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ]. The latter part of this Nation will not rectify its condition except by way of the Book [of Allāh] and the example and guidance [of the Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ] and by following the guidance of the [path and] methodology of the Pious Predecessors.”
