💡Ibn Al Jawzee May Allah have Mercy on him said:
“Overlooking some mistakes that are made remains one of the best of the ways of the dignified. For verily, people are prone to faults and mistakes so therefore if a person concerns himself with every fault and mistake, he will become tired and he will tire others out. So the intelligent person is the one who does not scrutinize every small or large occurrence with his family, loved ones, companions or neighbors. Based on this, imam Ahmad bin Hanbal May Allah have Mercy on him said: Nine out of ten parts of good character lies in overlooking.”
