أترضون أن تكونوا ربع أهل الجنة أترضون أن تكونوا ثلث أهل الجنة أترضون أن تكونوا شطر أهل الجنة لا يدخلها إلا نفس مسلمة وما أنتم في الشرك إلا كالشعرة البيضاء في جلد الثور الأسود أو كالشعرة السوداء في جلد الثور الأحمر

It is reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
“Would you like to make up a quarter of those who end up in Paradise?” Would you like to make up a third of them? Would you like to be half of them? Only the obedient person will enter it [1] , but you in polytheism (which surrounds you) are like a white hair on the skin of a black bull (or: … a black hair on the skin of a red bull)! ”
[1] – This refers to a person who obeys the will of Allah, in other words, a Muslim.
This hadith was transmitted by Ahmad 1/386, al-Bukhari 6528, 6642, Muslim 221, at-Tirmizi 2547, Ibn Majah 4283 according to Ibn Mas’ud.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See “Sahih al-jami ‘as-sagir” 89, “as-Silsil as-sahiha” 849, “Riyad-us-salihin” 436.
