أتانِي جِبْرِيلُ فقالَ: يا محمَّدُ! إنَّ الله عَزَّ وجلَّ لَعَنَ الخَمْرَ وعاصِرَها ومُعْتَصِرَها وشارِبَها وحامِلَها والمحْمُولَةَ إلَيْهِ وبائِعَها ومُبْتاعَها هَ
(طب ك هب الضياء) عن ابن عباس )
It is reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
“Jibril appeared to me and said:“ O Muhammad, truly, the Great and Almighty Allah cursed the wine itself, the one who squeezes (the grapes etc), the one for whom it is squeezed, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who carries it, the one to whom it is carried, the one who consumes its price, the one who drinks it and the one who pours it.”
This hadith was transferred to al-Tabarani in Mu’jam al-Kabir 12976, al-Hakim 2/37, al-Bayhaky 5/327 and in Shu’ab al-Iman 2/150 and al-Diyay al-Makadisi in al-Mukhtar, according to Ibn ‘Abbas.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See “Sahih al-jami ‘as-sagir” 72, 1802, 5091, “as-Silsila as-sahiha” 839.
