أتانِي جِبْرِيلُ فقال لي: إنَّ الله يَأمُرُكَ أنْ تَأمُرَ أصْحابَكَ أنْ يَرْفَعُوا أصْواتَهُمْ بالتَّلْبِيَةِ بنَّهاامِنِاْمْنِ
(حم ه حب ك) عن زيد بن خالد.)
It was narrated from Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Jibril came to me and said: ‘O Muhammad! Tell your Companions to raise their voices when reciting the Talbiyah, for it is one of the rites of Hajj.”
This hadith was transmitted by Ahmad 5/192, Ibn Majah 2923, Ibn Hibban 3803 and al-Hakim 1/450 according to Zayd ibn Khalid.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See “Sahih al-jami ‘as-sagir” 67, “al-Silsil as-sahiha” 830.
