470 – It is reported that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise open, the gates of Hell are closed and Shaitans are shackled . ”
This hadith was narrated by al-Nasai 4/127.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Saheeh al-jami ‘as-saghir 470.
