454 – It is narrated from the words of Abu Hurayra, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“When you perform ablution, begin with your right ones[1]”.
This hadith was narrated by Ibn Majah 402.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Saheeh al-jami ‘as-saghir 454.
[1] That is, first wash your right hand before your left, and your right leg before your left.
