433 (صحيح)
“إذا تصافح المسلمان لم تفرق أكفهما حتى يغفر لهما”
(طب) عن أبي أمامة.
433 – It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If two Muslims shake hands, then Allah forgives them before their hands part.”
This hadith was narrated by at-Tabarani in Mu’jam al-Kabir 8076 from the words of Abu Umama.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Sahih al-jami ‘as-saghir 433.
Grade: Sahih
Benefits derived from this Hadith:
1- Encouraging handshakes when meeting.
2- The preference of shaking hands.
3- The handshake is one of the causes of forgiveness of sins.
4- Allah’s mercy on His servants, as He made this a means for forgiveness of sins.
