“إذا تزوج أحدكم فليقل له: بارك الله لك و بارك عليك”
(الحارث طب) عن عقيل بن أبي طالب.
428 – It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If one of you gets married, say to him:” May Allah bless for you (your spouse) and may He grant you His blessings ”
/ Baraka-Llahu laka, wa baraka ‘alaika / “. This hadith was narrated by al-Harith ibn Abu Usama and at-Tabarani in Mu’jam al-Kabir 17/192 from the words of Aqeel ibn Abu Talib.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Sahih al-jami ‘as-saghir 428.
Tirmidhi has included this hadith with the additional wording وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِي خَيْرٍ “combine both of you in good (works)”. See Tirmidhi 1091 (sahih)
