415 (صحيح)
“إذا بلغ الله العبد ستين سنة فقد أعذر إليه و أبلغ إليه في العمر”
(عبد بن حميد) عن سهل بن سعد.
415 – It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If Allah gives His slave a chance to live to the age of sixty, then he has removed his excuse and increased his term.”
This hadith was narrated by ‘Abd bin Humayd from the words of Sahl ibn Sa’d.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Sahih al-jami ‘as-saghir 415
