«إذا أردت أن تبزق فلا تبزق عن يمينك ولكن عن يسارك إن كان فارغا فإن لم يكن فارغا فتحت قدمك» .

It is reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“If you want to spit, do not spit to your right, but spit to your left if there is room, and if there is no room, then under your foot.”
This hadith was narrated by al-Bazzar in “Kashf al-astar” 2079 from the words of Tariqa ibn Abdullah.
Sheikh al-Albani called the hadith authentic. See Saheeh al-jami ‘as-saghir 312.
