«إذا أراد الله بقوم عذابا أصاب العذاب من كان فيهم ثم بعثوا على أعمالهم» .

It is narrated from the words of Ibn ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“When Allah sends a punishment to any nation, it strikes all those who are among (these people; good or bad), and then they will be resurrected (and will be judged) according to their deeds.”
This hadith was narrated by Ahmad (2/110), al-Bukhari (7108) and Muslim (2879).
